June was an exciting month in the Art department. We celebrated the fantastic GCSE work created by the year 11s in our annual exhibition and our Year 10s produced some brilliant outcomes in our graffiti workshops.
The exhibition showcased a selection of the outstanding work our Year 11s have worked hard to create over the past two years. Parents, teachers, governors and students were invited to attend and people of all ages were impressed by the range and talent on display. Thank you to those who came along and for the kind and wonderfully positive messages you left for the students, these are just a few:
“The standard this year is exceptionally high. Well done!”
“Wonderful and inspiring as always.”
“I walked in gobsmacked. The work is phenomenal, a big well done to everyone.”
“Amazing artwork that I want to see in a gallery.”
“Every piece has a different message, it’s amazing”
“I love the way your work really reflects your personalities. Well done!”
Huge congratulations to all the Year 11 Art students and best of luck with your results in the Summer!
