At Pool Hayes we are always looking at opportunities for professionals to engage our pupils to improve and enhance their life chances.
Thursday 15th June saw officers Simon Bradley and Tim Baker visit Pool Hayes to work with some of our Year 10 boys. The hard hitting guidance gave the boys food for thought in the choices they make when choosing a peer group. Boys were shown the consequences of being associated with such groups and how this can prevent their life from being a positive one.
Having worked at Pool Hayes for over a decade, I can normally tell when pupils appreciate input. Having 20 boys approach the officers and shaking their hands after the session gave me that feeling.
A big thank you to Simon an Nick for giving up their precious time to try and guide our boys into taking the right routes in life. Mr D MasonBack to News
